City of Rosenberg presents Image Awards

published Jul. 6, 2012

At a meeting on July 3, the city council recognized Rosenberg citizens for beautifying their properties within the community.

Landscape awards were given to Joe and Mary Cueller, Brandon and Aileen McGee, Darren and Cindy Schmidt, Ethel Tappe and Tracy and Jan Sidney Vallance.

Renovation awards were given on behalf of the Rosenberg Image Committee to Frank Johnson and Americana Consignment Sales.

The properties were selected for monthly beautification awards by the city’s Image Committee, which is designed to promote activities that improve the city’s image.

Mayor Vincent M. Morales Jr. and Councilor William Benton, the Image Committee chairman, presented the citizens with certificates at the meeting.

Citizens are encouraged to nominate one another or local businesses by calling the Citizens Relations Coordinator at 832-595-3301.
