published Feb. 21, 2012 - Story by Sara Glafcke
The First Colony Middle School hosted the second annual Middle School Peer Assistance and Leadership Conference earlier this month.
The conference brought students from throughout the Fort Bend Independent School District together to participate in motivational activities led by speaker and success trainer Aric Bostick.
Bostick addressed the students, sharing stories of his own experiences in junior high school.
According to the press release, Bostick stated "I challenge you to get out of yourself and make new friends. Learn to be a part of the team and acknowledge others. When you give of yourself, you receive the same in return."
