Sunrise Rotary Club aids local charities

The Sunrise Rotary Club recently handed out checks to two charities at its normal Wednesday meeting.

The first check was presented to the Parks Youth Ranch for $1,000 and was accepted by Executive Director Linda Schultz. Giving the check was Shelly Neider, president-elect, and Carl Favre, vice president-elect.

And, the second check was presented to the Fallen Heroes Survivors Foundation in the amount of $8,047 and was accepted Sally Shaeffer-Ladouceur, executive director, and her husband, Mike Ladouceur.
