Terry High choir posts best state performance ever

The Terry High School Madrigal choir received superior ratings for its May 30 performance at the Texas State Solo Ensemble Contest.
The choir was recognized for its performance of "Adieu, Sweet Amaryllis," which was directed by Rhonda Klutts.
Soloists Hannah Hausler, Carolyn Castillo, Heidy Garcia and Raymond Fonseca were also awarded superior ratings and gold medals for their performances, while soloist Renisha Thompson received an excellent rating for her work.
More than 20,000 students competed in this contest, which took place in Austin.
