Kyle Gilbert Colligan went 1 for 3, scored a run and was walked once in the Winston-Salem Dash's 7-1 loss to the Potomac Nationals on Monday. Colligan graduated from Fort Bend Dulles High School.

Colligan is a 2005 graduate of Dulles High School. He went on to play four seasons of Division I college baseball at Texas A&M from 2006 to 2009. As a junior, 2008, Colligan was named a Big XII Conference all-star outfielder after batting .317 with 14 home runs and 39 RBIs. He hit 15 home runs with 45 RBIs as a senior, 2009. Colligan ended his career with a .296 batting average to go along with 42 home runs and 144 RBIs. He was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 12th round (373rd overall) of the 2009 Major League Baseball draft. He was born April 23, 1987 in Houston. Read more...
