College Baseball: Zac Jordan, TCU

Zac Jordan went 0 for 4, scored a run and was walked once in TCU's 12-6 win at BYU on Thursday. Jordan graduated from Fort Bend Baptist Academy High School in 2007.

Jordan was a 2007 graduate of Fort Bend Baptist Academy following a high school career in which he was a four-year starter and two-year captain for the baseball team under head coach Matthew Fox. Jordan was a first-team all-district and third-team all-state honoree following his sophomore, 2004-2005, and junior, 2005-2006, seasons. After his senior campaign, 2006-2007, he was named to the all-district first team and all-state first team. That year he batted .445 with six home runs. Jordan also earned the team's leadership award and was selected as the district's best pitcher. He participated in the Texas Rangers area code tryouts and was a member of the Kyle Chapman baseball organization. He is the son of David and Sandra Jordan. Read more...
