Fort Bend school district started with four teams in the regional quarterfinals in boys basketball Monday night. After the games, Travis and Bush advanced to the Region III semifinals to be played on Friday. Travis defeated Elkins 56-51 on Monday.
Bush will take on Strake Jesuit, a 76-71 winner over Madison. Travis will play Bellaire, an 85-40 winner over Elsik.
The winner of Friday's games play Saturday for a spot in the Class 5A boys basketball Final Four in Austin.
