A Stafford teen was killed Sunday evening when his motorcycle smashed into the back of a car.
Mateusz Patur, 19, was driving a 2009 Yamaha about 5:40 p.m. Sunday when he rammed into a 2002 Toyota Corolla.
A spokeswoman for the Texas Department of Public Safety said the crash ocurred on Avenue E in Stafford, about a half mile from Dulles Avenue.
She said both vehicles were traveling east on Avenue E when the accident happened. The speed limit on that section of Avenue E is 45 miles per hour.
The driver of the Corolla was not injured, but Patur was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mateusz was such a wonderful person. A spectacular son, loving big brother, great friend,amazing wonderful one of a kind boyfriend, and just someone you would rarely find in this world. He had such an enormous heart. Matt was a big impact in my life. If it wasn't for him, i won't be the person i am today. We both changed each other lives into the better. God brought each other in our lives for a reason. He was a guiding light & my guardian angel and will always be. I loved him with all my heart. your love will never be replaced. There will never be anyone like him in this world!
