    Two elementary schools get new principals

    The Fort Bend school board on Monday OK'd the naming of principals for Arizona Fleming and Oyster Creek elementary schools.

    Nancy LeBlanc Hummel, who has been the assistant principal of Townewest Elementary for the past three years, will head Fleming.

    She had taught in Lamar Consolidated Independent School District before joining the Fort Bend school district.

    Lexington Creek Elementary assistant principal Joy Schwinger will lead Oyster Creek Elementary.

    She had worked at Martin Elementary in the Alief school district as assistant principal and teacher.
