GutierrezJose Gutierrez, 32, Luis Dominguez, 21, and Jose Vasquez, 24, all of Houston, were arrested Thursday and have been charged with two counts of burglary of a motor vehicle and engaging in organized crime.
According to a news release issued this morning, the three were caught after a vehicle was burglarized at around 1:40 p.m. at 12535 Reed Road.
Surveillance cameras at a business and church captured images of several men committing vehicle burglaries and leaving in a red or maroon Toyota, crew cab pickup with primer behind the driver side door.
DominguezA police officer conducting surveillance in the Bally’s Total Fitness parking lot, 13444 Southwest Freeway, heard dispatchers broadcast the vehicle burglary on Reed Road, the release states.
The officer then saw a truck matching the description of the Toyota used in previous crimes. The truck was stopped, and stolen GPS devices and other electronics were recovered in the vehicle.
The three have also been charged with a vehicle burglary that happened at 407 Julie Rivers Drive. More charges are expected.

Do not leave valuables in plain sight. Remove your GPS and mount every time you go inside. Put your purses, bags and other carry items in a trunk or out of plain view.
