Ironically, as that was happening, a traveling exhibit of works by Spanish artist Pablo Picasso was going on display at an elementary school in the Lamar school district.

But, there's no chance of a million dollar accident, since the works are reproductions and not originals.

The exhibit at Meyer Elementary, 1930 J. Meyer Road in Richmond, is open to the public and will continue through March 12.

According to a news release issued by the school district, the exihibit was made possible through a grant from the Lamar Educational Awards Foundation. The grant request was made by art teacher Judy Fang.

The exhibit is open to the public during school hours, 7:45 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.
