A special education parenting series organized by the Lamar school district kicks off Thursday.
It will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Navarro Middle School, 4700 Ave. N in Rosenberg. Further sessions will be held Feb. 4, 11 and 25 and March 4.
Nancy Kling, a licensed professional counselor, will present the "Nurtured Heart Approach" series. To benefit most from the series, parents need to attend all five sessions, according to a district news release.
The series will also be offered again starting March 25.
