Fort Bend County Health & Human Services is offering H1N1 vaccinations to priority groups today at the Stafford Civic Center.
The free shots were offered this morning and will continue from 1 to 8 p.m. at the center, 1415 Constitution.
"At this time, there are no lines. People are getting their shots within a short time," states a news release issued at 10:45 a.m.
The priority groups include:
1. Pregnant women
2. Household contacts of children younger than 6 months of age.
3. Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel who provide direct patient care
4. Children from 6 months through 4 years of age
5. People 5 years through 64 years of age with health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza
