    Woman chased by knife-wielding man

A woman who had just come home from work was chased in her driveway early this morning by a knife-wielding man in the Eaglewood subdivision in the Mission Bend area.

The 59-year-old woman told Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies she pulled into her driveway at about 2:25 a.m. in the 9400 block of Taloncrest Drive.

A man drove up in a white SUV, got out with a knife and told her something, but she did not understand what he said, sheriff's spokeswoman Terriann Carlson said.

She ran around her vehicle and he chased her with the knife, Carlson said.

The woman started screaming, which scared the man away. He fled in his SUV and she called 911.
