A woman had her car stolen at gunpoint Thursday morning in the parking lot of a gas station in Missouri City.
The carjacking took place at about 8:45 a.m. at the Shell station at South Gessner and Beltway 8, said Missouri City police Capt. John Bailey.
The 54-year-old woman told police that after she had put gas in her car, a man came up to her with a gun and demanded her keys.
The woman gave the robber the keys, and he fled.
As of Monday morning, the car had not yet been recovered, Bailey said. It is a silver-colored 2002 Chevrolet Impala with license plate V49-WGF.
The gunman is described as white, about 5 feet 9 inches tall with blond hair. Bailey said the woman described him as being "very skinny."
