This toy drive has a lofty goal in mind this year

The goal? At least 10,000 gifts.

The Exchange Club of Sugar Land, the Sugar Land Rotary Club and the Fort Bend Exchange Club are leading the effort once again in their annual Santa’s Exchange project.

The toy drive provides new toys to thousands of children of Fort Bend County families in need of assistance, according to a news release.

The families that will be helped come from Project S.M.I.L.E., the Fort Bend County Women’s Center and Child Advocates of Fort Bend.

This year, the goal for the toy drive is to collect enough toys or funds to provide for 3,500 children, or more than 10,000 gifts.
