The city of Rosenberg has announced that the annual lighting of the gazebo at City Hall will be held Dec. 2.
City Hall is at 2110 Fourth St. The lighting ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Mayor Joe Gurecky will serve as the master of ceremonies.
Rosenberg’s First United Methodist Church Children’s Choir, under the direction of Elizabeth Fairfield, will perform holiday carols, according to a news release.
Santa will be in attendance. Refreshments will be served from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
Children are invited to color holiday pictures and visit with Santa immediately following the ceremony, the release states.
Parents can bring their camera for photographs of their children with Santa Claus.
