Man rings doorbells and exposes himself

Someone keeps ringing doorbells in one Missouri City neighborhood with his pants pulled down.

Twice in the past week, the same person has exposed himself to homeowners in the Quail Green West subdivision off Texas Parkway.

Missouri City police Capt. John Bailey said the latest incident happened around 7:50 p.m. Sunday at a home in the 1900 block of Courtside Place Drive.

A woman at the house told police that when she opened the door, there was a man with a shirt pulled over his head and his pants and underwear pulled down to his knees.

The woman called police, and the man fled and was gone when officers arrived.

The case is similar to one that happened Nov. 16 in the 2000 block of Grand Park Drive in the same subdivision.

In that case, someone kept ringing the doorbell and knocking on the door at 12:50 a.m., Bailey said. A woman who lived there eventually opened the door.

"He was standing there exposed and masturbating," Bailey said. "This guy's a sicko."

In both cases, the man, who is described as being black, didn't say anything to the women.

Bailey said the same neighborhood was plagued with similar cases over the summer, but those ended when an arrest was made. As of yet, it is not known if the same person is involved in the most recent cases.
