Need a place to hold a meeting?

The University of Houston System at Sugar Land has rooms that can be rented for meetings and events.

According to the UH-Fort Bend Web site, the 57,000-square-foot Albert and Mamie George Building has classrooms, videoconferencing rooms, a seminar room and community room.

"The facility is the perfect place for hosting large or small gatherings," the Web site states.

UH-Fort Bend is at the intersection of U.S. 59 and University Boulevard in Sugar Land, not far from the Brazos River.
